What This Tool Does
Accelerator — make your computer fast again, without understanding anything about computers
The Accelerator shows, in human terms, what is slowing down your computer: programs that eat memory, programs that remain hidden, junk taking up the disk and things that open on their own when you turn on the machine. And it’s resolved with one click, risk-free.
Program for Windows 10 and 11. You download, install and use. You don't need to install anything else, it doesn't ask for an API key and it doesn't change Windows configuration behind your back.
How to open
- Download the file here in the store and install it (the installation is just for you, it does not require an administrator password).
- Open Accelerator via the Desktop shortcut or Start menu.
- Enter your Like Points email and password. It's the same store account.

What it does — one tab per problem
Everything is in tabs at the top of the screen. The red number next to the tab name shows how many problems it encountered; without a number, everything is fine in there.
1. Memory — what's weighing on you now
It is the screen that opens first. It shows how much memory the computer is using, how much is left and, most importantly, who is consuming.
- Color warning at top: green is quiet, yellow is tight, red means the memory has run out and the machine will crash at any moment.
- Free up memory now: one click closes only what the program marked as "Weighing". Nothing from Windows is touched.
- Close marked: Do you prefer to choose by hand? Check the boxes on the list and use this button.
- In use it is the memory that the program is actually using. Reserved It's the memory he asked for just for himself and no one else can use — it's this number that crashes the computer even with spare memory. Copies is how many instances of the same program are open: dozens of copies are almost always leftovers that no one closed.
- Locked by drivers: when the memory disappears and there is no program. If the red stripe appears, closing programs is of no use — just restarting the computer will do the trick. Above 4 GB is already a defect; normal is less than 1GB.
- Everything that is part of Windows appears as Windows — don't touch and it cannot be closed here, not even by mistake.
What is it for: It's the first place to look when your computer starts to choke, your video freezes when exporting, or your browser slows down for no reason.
2. Forgotten programs — what was running hidden
Some programs remain on after you close their screen: no window, no icon, but holding the "line" they use. The next time you open that program, it talks to the old copy and it looks like nothing was saved.
- The tab searches for itself when you enter it and calls each person by name. real name, not by filename.
- Close the forgotten ones: they are asked to go out alone first; only those who don't answer are forcibly closed.
- Remains of automations: a separate track shows pieces that the tools left open without any window. Closing them loses nothing, because there is no open work inside them. The browser that you opened never makes this list.
What is it for: is the number one cause of "I registered and the program didn't save" and of programs that open and don't respond.
3. Disk space — recover the missing GB
Shows the trash that can be deleted, separated by group, with the size of each one. What is safe is already marked.
- You can delete: no need at all. Can you download it again: disappear now and the program downgrades when necessary. Contains your work: only disappears if you mark it.
- The groups are: artificial intelligence models that the browser downloaded on its own (up to 4 GB each), tool browser cache, videos and audio already downloaded, old versions of the browser engine, temporary Windows and installer files, packages saved by development programs and the CapCut cache and projects.
- Clear cache no disconnects you from any account: login, password and sessions remain intact. Your login and license are never deleted, under any circumstances, and open program is spared.
- What may contain your file goes to the Windows Recycle Bin (you can go back); cache and temporary file are deleted once and for all, because going to the Recycle Bin the space would not be freed up.
- Measure my folders, at the end of the tab, answers the question "where's my 400 GB?": it measures your folders, shows the largest ones and opens each one with a button. Nothing is erased here — you decide.
What is it for: Full disk slows down Windows and stops the program from saving. One pass usually returns tens of GB.
4. Opens with Windows — why does the machine take a long time to turn on
It lists everything that opens by itself when you turn on the computer and eats memory all day long, even without you using it.
- Shut down in the program line don't uninstall anything: it just stops opening on its own and continues to work normally when you open it by hand. You can reconnect here whenever you want, and it's valid from the next time you turn on the computer.
- The list shows which of them are already open now and how much memory they are taking up.
- Some items appear with can't change: are computer protection, sound, or things that belong to all users of the machine.
What is it for: This is the most common cause of a computer taking minutes to get ready after turning it on.
5. Recording Mode — nothing gets in your way while you record
Call before recording your screen, going live or exporting a video. He pause (does not close) what steals processor and internet in the middle of work: file clouds (OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, MEGA), games and stores (Steam, Epic, Battle.net), messengers (Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp, Teams, Slack), Spotify, download programs and updaters that turn on by themselves.
- Nothing is lost: Programs pick up right where they left off when you turn off the mode.
- While it is on, the cloud does not synchronize and messengers do not receive new messages. That's the goal.
- Three protections: turning off the mode returns everything, closing the program returns everything, and if you forget it on, it turns off by itself after 3 hours.
- Antivirus and sound never are paused.
What is it for: you end up with chopped up video, crackling audio and exporting that takes twice as long.
6. PC health — what your machine can handle
- Computer parts and how many heavy tasks it can handle at the same time, with the recommended number. It helps you know how many videos you can render at once without crashing the machine.
- Space of each unit, with warning when it is running out, and the health of the discs.
- Internet speed now and who is using it — useful when sending is slow and you don't know who is consuming bandwidth.
- History: a graph of how free memory has been behaving and the total space you have already recovered with the program.
- Automatic cleaning every week: when turned on, the safe trash is deleted by itself on the chosen day and time (by default, Sunday at noon), without opening any screen. Nothing that contains your work is touched.
Settings — everything on the screen
The Accelerator does not have a hidden configuration screen. What can be adjusted is visible:
- Language: the flags in the upper right corner change the screen instantly, in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, German and Japanese.
- Automatic cleaning (PC Health tab): turn it on or off, choosing the day of the week and time.
- Recording Mode: turn it on and off, first seeing the list of what will be paused.
- What to delete: the markings for each group in the Disk Space tab. What is safe is already marked.
- Account: the email of the person who is connected always appears at the top, next to the button Log out of account — this is how you switch accounts if more than one person uses the same computer.
First use step by step
- Install and open. Enter your Like Points account email and password.
- In the tab Memory, look at the colored warning. If it is yellow or red, click Free up memory now.
- Abra Forgotten programs. It already searches on its own: check the list and click Close the forgotten ones.
- Abra Disk space. It already analyzes and marks what is safe. Check it out and click Free up space.
- Abra Opens with Windows and turn off what you don't use every day. This makes the computer start up faster next time.
- Are you going to record or export video? Stop by first Recording Mode and call. Hang up when finished.
- In the tab PC Health, call weekly automatic cleaning And forget about it: safe trash disappears on its own every week.
How to close the program
Click End program, at the top of the screen, or simply close the window: it turns off on its own in a few seconds. Nothing is running hidden after that.
New version: one click
When a new version comes out, a warning appears within the program itself with the button Update now. It downloads, keeps a backup copy of your stuff, installs it in the same folder and reopens it on its own. You don't need to uninstall anything or download it again here in the store, and your account, your settings and your history remain where they were.
API Keys
This program does not ask for API key — none. It only works with your login. If any other tool in the house asks for it, the key registers in the panel Like Points, never within the program.
Requirements
- Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64 bits. It doesn't need to be a strong computer.
- You don't need an administrator account or install anything other than the program itself.
- You need internet to log into your account and check your plan. The conference is done every time the program opens.
Limits — what he doesn't do
- It doesn't change internal Windows configuration, it doesn't change services and it doesn't promise to "optimize the registry". What he does is visible and reversible.
- Closing a program is the same as closing it forcibly: what was not saved in it is lost. Save first.
- Turning off a startup item does not uninstall the program, and the effect appears the next time the computer turns on.
- When memory is locked by a Windows driver, no program can get it back — only restart.
- Measuring your folders on a very full disk or external HD can take time; In this case, it shows what it has already measured and warns you that the number is partial.
Common mistakes and what to do
- "Unable to log in" or the screen asks to log in again — check the internet and make sure the email and password are the same as those in the store. Have you just signed up for the plan? Close and open the program: the account is checked when opening.
- "You do not have access to this tool" — your account is active, but this program is not in your plan. The notice itself contains a link to the plans.
- I clicked on free up memory and it is still high — look at the "Locked by drivers" card. If the number is high, the memory does not contain any programs: restarting the computer is the only way to go.
- A program does not close — some require administrator permission. Close his window in your hand and try again.
- I deleted it and the free space barely changed — what went to the Recycle Bin still occupies disk. Empty the Windows Recycle Bin to free up space.
- The search takes time — on a computer with a lot of things open, the scan takes a few seconds. It's not a crash: it can wait.
- "Unknown publisher" the first time it opens — is the normal Windows warning for a newly downloaded program. Click "More information" and then "Run anyway".
- Any other problem — click Bug reporting, at the top. It saves a file to your Desktop and opens the button Send on WhatsApp with the message ready: just attach the file to the conversation.
