SomVibe Uploader

A program that uploads your songs to the distributor SomVibe alone: convert the audio, create the title, design the cover, fill out the entire form and send it for analysis. You point to the folder and go do something else.

Why use

Distributing a song by hand takes 15 to 20 minutes: converting the file, inventing a name that doesn't already exist, putting together the cover in the right size, filling out a long form and checking everything before sending. Twenty songs turn into a whole day of repetitive work — and all it takes is one forgotten field for the track to come back rejected.

Before you start

Install

Set up — five steps, once

1. Open the program. Double-click SomVibeUploader.exe. A black window appears and the panel opens by itself in your browser. This black window is the on/off switch: as long as it is open, the program is running.

2. Enter your serial. In the tab Settings, paste the serial Like Points and click Validate. It identifies your account and releases its API keys — the artificial intelligence that creates the titles and photo bank for the covers. Without a valid serial number, the program will not open.

3. Create the project. In the tab 1. Project: give it a name, point to the folder of songs and write the style of the batch with your words, for example “forró pé de serra romantic, my songs”. One project per batch; you can have several and alternate.

4. Log in to SomVibe and choose the defaults. In the tab 2. Batch defaults, click Open browser / log in. Opens a program-only Chrome window: log in and check Stay Connected. This is just one time. Then click Map options — the program reads the list of artists, genres, subgenres and languages from the website and fills in the boxes on the panel. Choose your patterns and save.

5. Read the folder and send it. In the tab 3. Songs and shipping, click Read folder. The program scans the folder and subfolders and automatically marks everything that can go up. Uncheck what you don't want and click Send marked. It's just a list: the Status column tells the story of each track — new, in queue, sending now, sent, copy, already on SomVibe, error.

By default, SomVibe generates the codes and you don't need to do anything. If you already have yours, choose “I have...” in the defaults and create, in the music folder, a notepad with the same name as the track file, containing two lines: “UPC: 0123456789012” and “ISRC: BRXXX0000001”.

How to close properly

Click Close, in the upper right corner of the panel. He closes the automation browser and shuts down the program. Just close the browser tab no turns off: the program continues running in the background. Closing the black window also ends everything.

It doesn't interfere with the rest of the computer

Where is your data

Next to the program, in three folders: date (your projects, history and covers), logs (the record of what happened) and profiles (your SomVibe login). Nothing is sent elsewhere. For backup, copy the folder date.

FAQ

He stopped at a song and never left his place. It locked? Almost always not. Two things seem like a crash and aren't: the 25 to 55 second pause between tracks (there's a countdown on the screen) and the sending of a large file (the program warns you every minute that it's still going up). If the red captcha strip appears, it is waiting for you to check the box in Chrome.

It appeared “I didn’t find the field anything”. The website has changed the layout. The program saves the page in the logs folder, and the selectors.json file, which is in its folder, can be adjusted without recompiling anything. Notify support saying which field failed.

It's asking for SomVibe login all the time. Don't delete the profiles folder — it's what stores the session. And check “Keep Logged In” when logging in.

A song of mine appears in gray and doesn't leave a mark. It is protection against duplicate sending. The Status column says the reason: copy inside the folder, already sent here, or already in your SomVibe catalog.

He turned down a track because it was too long. After 15 minutes he understands that it is a compilation, not a single. A 1-hour audio becomes a file of more than 600 MB: the upload does not finish and the track would be broken on the website. Cut just the song and place the cut in the folder.

Can I use the computer while he works? He can. Just don't close his Chrome window or the black window.

I installed it in C:\Program Files, what now? It continues to work. As this folder is protected by Windows, it saves the data in your home folder and shows the path in the black window when it opens.
