What This Tool Does
Jump Cut Creator — viral vertical cuts from any video
You paste the link to a YouTube video (or drag a file from your computer) and the program returns multiple vertical videos ready for Shorts, TikTok, Reels and Kwai. Artificial intelligence watches the entire video, finds the introduction, the best hooks and the sections that capture your attention, and assembles each cut with subtitles, an impactful title on the screen and background music. From a one-hour horizontal video, dozens of vertical videos come out in an afternoon, without you editing anything.
Anyone who has never edited video can use it. The common way is: paste the link, choose how many cuts you want and click Process. Everything else is already filled in with the best option.
How to get started (first time)
- Download the .zip file of this page.
- Extract everything before opening. Right click on the downloaded file and choose "Extract all". There's no point in just dragging the program out: it needs the folders that come with it.
- Open the extracted folder and double-click Jump_Cut_Creator.
- On first run Windows may show a blue "Unknown publisher" warning. Click More information and then in Run anyway.
- The program opens a page in your browser asking email and password. They are the same as your Like Points account, the same one you used to purchase. There is no separate registration.
- Ready. The main screen appears and you can now work.
Important: the program works inside the browser, but it é a program installed on your computer. As long as the flap is open, it is on. Closing the tab turns off the program — and there is also the red button End program at the top of the screen and an icon next to the Windows clock, with the option "End the program".
Step by step usage
- Choose the video source. Paste the address of a YouTube video into the "Video URL" field, or click on the "MP4 File" tab and drag a video from your computer (MP4, MOV, AVI or MKV, up to 4 GB).
- Channel or playlist link is also valid. If you paste the address of a channel, the program understands it on its own and asks you what to download: normal videos or Shorts, the most recent, the most viewed, the oldest or random, from 1 to 5 videos. If you paste a playlist, it asks how many videos to get (up to 10) and in what order.
- Tell me how many cuts you want. The default is 3 versions per video; you can go up or down on the bar.
- Write your closing call (optional). In the "CTA for narration" field you type the phrase that closes all the cuts — "follow me to part 2", "link in bio", whatever. A synthesized voice reads this phrase at the end of each video.
- Give context to the AI (optional). In the "Context for AI" field you explain in one line what the video is about or what audience you want to reach. This greatly improves the choice of sections.
- Click Process. The video enters the queue on the right and you can follow the stage and percentage in real time: download, transcribe, choose cuts, render.
- Get the result. When finished, click open folder. Each cut becomes a numbered .mp4 file and, next to it, a text file with ready title, description and hashtags to paste when publishing.
What the program does for you
Smart choice of cuts
The AI reads the entire time-stamped transcript, identifies the opening, turning points and sentences that hold the viewer, and assembles cuts that make sense on their own — with a beginning, middle and end. It's not about chopping every minute.
Automatic subtitles
Each cut is subtitled, with the font you choose (Arial, Impact, Montserrat, Poppins, Anton or Bebas Neue). Subtitles burned into the video are what make the cut watch without sound.
Impact title on the screen (headline)
A short sentence appears at the top of the video. You choose the style: classic (black box with white text), colored box, just outline without box, or neon. You can set the background, text and highlight colors, and decide whether the words are all in the same color or alternating two colors.
Creative engine: each video with its own look
In mode Single per video (default), the program selects the font, palette, subtitle style and rhythm with each cut — the feed does not contain ten identical videos, which helps with reach. In mode Locked, it uses exactly the style and colors you defined, to maintain the channel's identity.
Series with logical sequence
Turning this option on, the cuts become Part 1, Part 2, Part 3... and each one ends with a cliffhanger for the next. This is what makes the viewer look for the sequence on your profile.
Automatic jump cuts
Remove pauses and breaths. The video is dry, fast, without dead time — the rhythm that works in vertical video.
Narration and spoken hook
In addition to the final call, the program can create a punchline narrated in the opening, written by AI based on the content of the video itself. You choose the voice and adjust speed and tone in Settings.
Cloning your own voice (optional)
If you prefer the hook to be spoken in the video creator's own voice, turn on "Clone Voice". The first time, click Install XTTS in Settings and wait: it's a heavy resource that the program downloads and installs on its own, once. Without installing, the program uses normal synthesized voice.
Dynamic Framing
Switches between full vertical cropping and centered video with blurred background, varying from one version to another. Prevents all cuts from having the same look.
Split-screen media
While the person speaks, a second image or video related to the subject appears on the other half of the screen. You choose the font:
- Image banks — the AI reads the passage and searches for the material that matches on its own.
- Your private folder — you point to a folder with your own images and videos.
- Generation by artificial intelligence — the program creates the scene from scratch, using your accounts registered in the "Media generation accounts" tab. You can choose between generated video (more impactful, longer) or slow zoom image (much faster).
Background music
Point to a folder with your songs and adjust the volume on the bar (the default is low on purpose, so as not to compete with your voice).
Dubbing in other languages
Check "Dub in other languages" and choose the target languages. The program generates new and complete videos in each language — with the cuts, subtitles and title translated — and you decide whether you want to keep the original and the dubbed, or just the dubbed. If voice cloning is installed, the dubbing comes out with the voice from the video itself.
Custom Profile Frame
By turning on "Customize layout", the video appears inside a card with your profile photo, your name, your @ and the social network icon (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram or Facebook). You can still connect Watermark your @ in the center of the video, in transparency, which makes it very difficult for people to steal your cut and repost it as if it were theirs. The button See preview Shows how it will look before processing.
Autopublish
By turning on "Publish automatically", each finished cut already enters a queue for sending to the YouTube and/or for the Bilibili.tv. It works like this:
- Click Add and give the account a name (e.g. "main channel").
- Click Connect. Opens a regular browser window, where you enter your login yourself — the program never asks for or stores your social network password.
- After signing in, click I've already entered and in Search channels to choose which channel to publish on.
- Escolha when to publish: as soon as the video is ready, or scheduled — in this case you define how many videos per day, how many hours between one and the next and the time of the first.
- Choose the visibility: public, unlisted, or private.
The button View shipping queue shows what has already been uploaded, what is scheduled and what failed, with the option to try again.
Video card acceleration
In automatic mode, the program uses the video card when it exists and falls back to the processor when it does not. Only move here if something goes wrong.
Required API Keys
You never register a key within the program. There is no key field on the screen. The keys are in your account, on the Like Points panel, and the program takes everything by itself when you log in. If your plan already includes the use of artificial intelligence, there's nothing you can do: you can skip this section. Register your own key only if you want to use your account for the services below.
- OpenAI (main, to choose the cuts and write the titles) — register on the panel · video explaining how to get the key. The program uses the cheapest OpenAI model by default.
- AssemblyAI (transcription, when the video does not have ready subtitles) — register on the panel · video explaining how to get the key. Signing up gives you free credit to get started.
- Groq (optional, faster alternative to OpenAI) — register on the panel · no video.
- OpenRouter (optional, gives access to various AI models) — register on the panel · video explaining how to get the key.
- Pexels (optional, split-screen video and photo bank) — register on the panel · video explaining how to get the key.
- Pixabay (optional, the other image bank) — register on the panel · video explaining how to get the key.
Did you register or exchange a key with the program open? Close and open the program again. Keys are read upon opening.
Settings (gear button at the top of the screen)
- Your account — shows which email you are connected to, what your plan is and whether the artificial intelligence is enabled. There are also buttons Check again, Help, Report problem and Log out of account.
- Media Generation Accounts — register here the accounts used to create images and videos using AI in split-screen.
- Language and transcription — The default is to auto-detect the video language. Only change if the detection is wrong.
- Narration — voice, speed and tone of synthesized speech.
- YouTube Cookies — only needed if the download fails (see below).
- Standards — how many versions to create per video and the default volume of the song. What you define here will already be filled in in the next videos.
- Output folder — where ready-made videos are recorded. It's on the main screen, at the bottom of the left panel.
Requirements
- Windows 10 or 11, 64 bits.
- Internet connection. The program checks your account every time you open it — without internet it won't log in.
- Free disk space: Long high-quality video takes up a lot of space while processing.
- There is no need to install anything other than the program: it already comes with everything you need to download and edit video.
- To publish automatically, you must have Google Chrome on your computer.
- Rendering takes time. Long video with many versions, voiceovers, and AI-generated media can take anywhere from several minutes to a few hours—leave it running.
Common problems and how to solve them
"Sign in to confirm you're not a bot" when downloading from YouTube
The YouTube sometimes requires confirmation that you are not a robot. The solution is to export your cookies just once:
- Install the extension Get cookies.txt LOCALLY in Chrome.
- Enter the YouTube already logged in, click on the extension icon and click Export.
- Save the file and select it in Settings → YouTube Cookies.
The program says that your account does not have access
Check if the subscription or purchase of this tool is active on the Like Points dashboard. After regularization, close and open the program.
The screen says there is no artificial intelligence released
Either your plan does not include this tool, or you chose your own key and it was not registered. Register the key in the panel (section above) and reopen the program.
I double clicked on the shortcut and it didn't open another window
It's on purpose: there can only be one open copy. The new copy takes the place of the old one and brings the screen back, so you're never working in an old session.
I thought I closed the program, but it was still open
It doesn't happen anymore: if you close the browser tab, the program closes itself in a few seconds — unless there is a video being rendered, and then it waits to finish. To close instantly, use the button End program at the top of the screen or the icon next to the clock.
There was an error and you don't know what happened
Click Report problem (within Settings, and also on the login screen). It saves a report to your Desktop. Send this file to support: this is how the problem is found quickly.
A new version notice appeared
A banner notifies you when there is a newer version, with the link to download. It's worth updating: your settings, your login and your connected accounts remain as they were.
Help within the program
The button Help Open this always updated manual, directly from the website, along with the video tutorial — you don't need to come back here to consult it.
